Extremely rare burr walnut bracket clock by the inventive and talented clockmaker Thomas Cole (1800-1864).

Of tapering form with silvered dial bearing his usual signature of Thos Cole London. Beautifully made 8 day chain and fusee movement with dead beat escapement and Harrison’s maintaining power.

Typical Cole features such as his spherical pendulum bob and subsidiary gearing so that the winding square is below the dial.
