Elegant ebonised case with ogee moulding above a rectangular plinth, square dial aperture and simple stepped pediment. The brass silvered dial is signed Thos Gammage & Son. 1,St.Michaels Alley.Cornhill.London. Numbered 4397. And fronts a substantial rectangular plated 8 day movement with large tapered pillars and fusee with chain and pendulum with holdfast.
